December Daily 2020 // Day 11
/ Amanda ZampelliWelcome to my December Daily 2020 | Story 11.
Today’s story about date night to a local sushi/hibachi spot that Tom has been talking tent business with. I love that there are two sides to this spread - one side telling the story of us at home getting ready for the date night, and the other side of us on the date.
This story came together soooooo quickly (unlike story 8) because I knew the two photos I wanted to give a full page to, and thought of this page by Ali as inspiration for my front&back circle transparency divider for the middle.
I’ve been taken aback by how much writing I’ve wanted to do in this year’s album - considering how much smaller the space is to write in a 3x8 as opposed tot he 6x8. For today’s story, I loved how one of those 2x2 inch circle spots worked for journalling, and how part of what I wanted to journal was how much I am NOT a night person. I just can’t hang.
The card from Ali’s Holiday Cheer card deck that I matcxhed with DAY 11’s story is the one that reads “friendly coffee date with loved ones.” This was a friendly sushi date with my MOST LOVED one, but one of the restaurant owners Kelly joined us with a bottle of wine, along with her lawyer and his wife. It was a delightful; evening and brought me so much joy…until I wanted to go to sleep. Ha!
Thanks for visiting and allowing me to share how my Decmeber’s going. If you’re new to December Daily, find out all about it from Ali Edwards’ website. You can see how I’ve participated in the past HERE. Stay well & happy documenting! xoxo
