December Daily 2020 // FULL FLIP-THROUGH

…aaaaannnnnnndddd ‘TIS COMPLETED. My December Daily 2020 is DONE, and the full video flip-through is recorded.

It seems like yesterday I was talking about how pumped I was to be starting this project last year, and sharing my foundations pages on YouTube…now here we are! I made Ali’s Creative Team, and we’re about to begin 2021’s December documenting adventures together! The thrill!

Above is the full flip-through video of my two 3x8 green linen December Daily albums for 2020. You’ll hear me rave about how this project was the most fun I've had documenting in my entire life, and how the 3x8 size WAS EVERYTHING!

The 3x8 size surprised the HECK outta me because I couldn’t believ how much craftiness I was able to do on each page! Less surface area to fill ended up being more the reason to cluster embellishments on a single page. The smaller size also encouraged me to find clever ways to include my journalling, and you’ll hear me talk about it ad nauseam in my full flip-through video.

Above and below. you will see the before and after of how a couple of spreads came out. LOVE LOVE LOVE to see this progress and how the album ended up coming together.

Around this time each year, I begin to revisit and feverishly binge-watch Ali’s YouTube channel like a psychopath, studying how she constructs pages and her approach to this project. IT HAS TAUGHT ME SO MUCH about what I want to get out of it. I suggest taking a peek at her 2020 FULL FLIP THROUGH if you haven’t already. It’s so good. SOOOOOOO GOOOOOD!
