December Daily 2020 // Day 4
/Welcome to my December Daily 2020 | Story 4.
Today’s story includes the Holiday Checklist from Paper Person that I personalized and filed out digitally, along with a story featuring my boy cat, Alejandro.
The stamped numbers page with the embossed ‘4’ was one of the foundation pages I created before December began, and was inspired by this page Ali created last year. I paired it with the Holiday Checklist page that again - even though it’s 6x8 inches, can be included as long as you make it flip out.
I love this checklist design by Kelly Purkey. I purchased the digital version from her shop, and changed the colors and some of the list items (to better suit my personal checklist) in Photoshop. In the “notes” section of the page, I journalled some thoughts or some hopes attached to the item on the list. I’ll add a gold star when & if the item is completed, and also a sweet little stamp of the date.
The backside/inside of the checklist flip-out flows into the right side of the spread in a long 10.25 x 8.25 photo of my sweet cat-son Alejandro.
I added a chipboard 4 sticker (from Kelly Purkey that is the same font as the large, embossed stamped one from the previous page), some chipboard hearts, and chipboard strips in that nice, warm red.
The card from Ali’s Holiday Cheer card deck that matched DAY 4’s story is the one that reads “smile and say hello to help make someone’s day a little brighter.” This guy loves attention, and even though I was running around to try and get ready for virtual learning that morning, I made it a point to stop and smell the cat belly! Anytime I kiss and rub this sweet cat, it makes his day.
Thanks for visiting and sharing in my excitement for this project! If you’re new to December Daily, find out all about it from Ali Edwards’ website. You can see how I’ve participated in the past HERE. Stay well & Happy December! xoxo
