FUN FRIDAY // 05

Four weeks ago, I introduced FUN FRIDAY & here’s the gist: because I chose FUN as my one little word® this year, I’ve decided that every Friday from now until the start of 2022, I’ll share some fun things that happened the week before. Let’s go…

Puzzles puzzles puzzles. An interesting way ‘FUN’ has burst into my life so far this year is through PUZZLES! I never really had the patience for puzzles, but I bought one for my cousin Raelyn’s 4th birthday at the beginning of the month, and my desire to ‘puzzle’ has snowballed from there! Tom and I have been working on this puzzle of visual movie puns, and I bought this dog puzzle as an end of the day reward for my students to work on.

Chinese food @ sister’s new home. My sister turned 32 last week and she invited us to her brand new home and ordered Chinese. We laughed and ate, inevitably talked about the COVID vaccine, and above was Tom’s fortune.

Murder shows & my weighted blanket. Tom’s sister gifted me a weighted blanket (15 pounds) for Christmas and pictured above you can see me laying under it with Forensic Files playing in the background. I fall asleep to murder shows because of the soft narrating of events, kind of like a bedtime story. How does this fit into FUN FRIDAY when this just looks like a nap, you ask? This meme.

Dogs & dubs. I love dogs. I love all animals, really but this happy guy getting dubbed over made me actually laugh out loud this week. Also, have you see bouncy puppy? Pure genius.
