the honeycombs in my hive
/No, I’m not Beyonce, but since hanging those hexagon shelves I found in the back corner of my local Marshall’s store, I definitely feel like a Queen Bee! I like referring to them as the honeycombs in my hive…
At first, I didn’t know what to put on them or the first thing about styling them. As you can see above, I found some really lightweight fabric pumpkins in the Target Dollar Spot, and for a few weeks, they were it.
Knowing the honeycombs needed a bit more, I ordered some small fake plants from IKEA, and I also had the idea to use the tiny autumn accents I got at BigLots! for Tom’s Charcuter33 display.
The combination of everything made the honeycombs in my hive complete, and if this is all the decor I do for fall, it will be enough.
I’m not as confident at interior design as I am with graphic design, but I’m learning, I’m trying. This setup feels really good, so I’m just proud I’m making progress. Ah, this year of HOME.
Crisp air, falling leaves, shorter days, hot beverages, and the smell of soups and baking pies…I’m slowly getting to the point of letting it all in…
