Five weeks ago, I introduced FUN FRIDAY & here’s the gist: because I chose FUN as my one little word® this year, I’ve decided that every Friday from now until the start of 2022, I’ll share some fun things that happened the week before. Let’s go…

FUN FRIDAY 06 | Amanda Zampelli

A day of nothing at all. I did a coffee ‘CHEERS’ early Saturday morning to having NOTHING at all on the agenda to attend to. (You know you’re an adult when getting to do nothing is a friggin’ novelty.) Tom and I took our time getting out of bed, an then finished the ‘100 Movie Puns’ puzzle I talked about last week.

Jackbox Games. We hosted a spontaneous get-together Sunday night and downloaded some Jackbox games to our system for all to enjoy. Have you heard of Jackbox? If not, it’s the new wave way to have a game night (with twitch you can play against friends remotely), and if yes, what’s your favorite game?! Quiplash and any drawing game are my favorites, but Tom and I have been liking Blather Round too!

The 100 Day Project. I love that The 100 Day Project launched earlier in the year than it has in past years. We could all use a creative easy something to pass the rest of the days of winter and drop us off deep into spring. Yes, please! I’ve decided to do 100 Days of Little Moments, using the 1 Second Everyday app to document tiny video snippets. I’ve done it before here and here, and my other 100 Day Projects can be found here.

Hot Chocolate Bomb. His sister gifted me a hot chocolate bomb, and it was fun to pour (and spill) hot milk over it and watch it work and sip a treat I loved as a kid, but hadn’t enjoyed in years.

Math Jeopardy. Tom and I have gotten into Jeopardy since it made its way onto Netflix. We’ve been watching the Ken Jennings version in addition to the classic Trebekisodes, and I was inspired to create a Jep game of my own. My 4th grade class is having a Math Test today, so we reviewed for it with the Math Jeopardy game I created. It was a HIT and so much fun to watch my students get into it!
