30 Days of Lists // March 2018
/I'm pretty sure I nailed my ’30 Days of Lists’ title page. Haa haa! I’d been saving that gold foil ‘list makers gonna list’ sticker from The Happy Planner’s ‘Productivity’ sticker value pack for a while, waiting for the perfect spot to attach it to, and by God, I found it on the title page of this project!
What is 30 Days of Lists?
30 Days of Lists is a semi-annual journaling challenge for listers, hosted by Kam of Campfire Chic and the #30Lists Team.
Not everyone can make a mini scrapbook every week or an art journal page every night. 30 Days of Lists is an encouragement and challenge proving that you CAN document something every day — even something as small as a list.
Every March, September, and December, 30 Days of Lists hosts a totally doable, easy creative challenge to meet other creative women and tell your story in lists.
How I've participated in the past:
For SEPTEMBER 2013, I got a little more creative. I decided to create a 7×7 hardcover photobook through the website blurb.com and loved how the whole book was prepped, printed, and ready to go for the first day of the challenge. All that was left to do was fill in my lists each day with my white paint pen, or a typed-up, attached list.
For MARCH 2013, I digitally designed my own page template, bound the pages with book rings, and typed each list in one of the five colors I chose for the challenge. To each list, I included an image to go with it, and a fun strip of washi tape. I set very specific rules for that mini book, and loved how to the format allowed for easy, quick creative bursts to complete each day.
For this round of #30lists:
Like March 2013’s book, I’ve created a digital page design to use to write my lists. Simple font. Minimal style. That’s how it’s going to get done. (You gotta know yourself + what will make you finish this challenge, not overwhelm you and cause you to give up.)
I’m going to print out these pages and add an element of art or photos to the left side of the spread. I’ve housed my pages in a mini Happy Planner®’s teal hard cover bound by specialty mint discs given to me by Chandler when I was last in the me & my BIG ideas office.
The finished mini:
My finished #30lists book came out even better than I expected - chubby, full, and filled with insightful journalling in a listed format - and you can scroll through my finished pages below.
